  • Must be “Highly Qualified” (NCLB Compliant). The law defines “Highly Qualified” as having a high school diploma or equivalent, AND one of the following (ATTACH one of the following):
    • 2 years of study equal to 48 units (unofficial transcripts, or
    • AA Degree or higher, or
    • Ability to pass the "Paraeducator Exam" - For more information on the "Paraeducator Exam" please contact (559) 274-4700 ext.10262.
    • Ability to pass the Punjabi Exam required
  • Punjabi Test Information: Must pass the Punjabi Exam (70%)

  • Pre-registration is required at Central Unified Human Resources office Room 9, 5652 W. Gettysburg Fresno, CA 93722 or by calling us at (559) 274-4700 ext. 10262.
  • Please be aware that Central Unified School District may not have a testing date within the job posting period.

Salary Information: Employee's contracted position is SAME range as Summer school; paid current salary in 25-26 / Employee's contracted position LOWER range than Summer school; 5% rule applies, if qualified.
