Bachelor’s degree with two years’ primary work experience in student services related programs such as admissions, registration, academic advising, financial aid/VA educational benefits, or student accounts.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Essential Functions
- Assist prospective and current students with admissions, registration, academic advising and related enrollment action.
- Process registration, degree plans, and related enrollment actions.
- Determine Texas Success Initiative status and advise on student placement.
- Monitor degree progress and academic standing and take appropriate action as needed.
- Provide financial aid/VA benefits and other funding source information.
- Assist students with enrollment related issues and/or elevate to next level.
- Assist in tracking inquiries through enrollment services and ensure students receive timely and exemplary service.
- Proactively assist prospective students through the enrollment process by adhering to call and database processes.
- Be a subject matter expert in the college’s worldwide programs, enrollment processes, financial aid/VA educational benefits, and other funding sources available.
- Maintain communication and coordinate services with other areas of student services, instructional departments, and administrative services on all matters that relate to position.
- Serve as the VA functional expert for Eagles On Call (Call Center) and ensure VA certifications are processed in a timely manner.
- Order textbooks and supplies to be shipped to the Chapter 31 students.
- Prepare student records for compliance surveys by the Veterans Administration and the State Approving Agency.
- Communicate with VA students as needed for information on benefits, issues and responsibilities and respond promptly to phone and email messages.
- May participate in prospective student recruitment based on leads and perform other related duties and activities as needed.
