Summary of Position
Non-exempt position whose primary duties and responsibilities are to process daily admissions applications and enrollment activity for all military students.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree from a nationally or regionally accredited U.S. institution of higher education preferred.
Six years wage earning clerical experience or certification / successful completion of relevant trade school (30 college credits ) and two years wage earning clerical experience OR Associates Degree and one year wage earning clerical experience is required.
Knowledge Skills and Ability
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to use student information systems. Colleague and/or Informer experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records.
Essential Functions
- Upload and download data files via secure FTP
- Process military application and registration files.
- Process and submit daily enrollment extract report.
- Receive and process military enrollment activity.
- Manage student records, using data imaging software.
- Work with various departments to research and resolve student issues.
- Manage routine correspondence, daily workflows, and reports.
- Assist with software updates and customization processes in Colleague.Process Admission holds (Bacterial Meningitis, ATXT, etc.).
- Research and resolve student enrollment issues.
- Assist students with Admissions process, both in person/electronically.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
