Central Peninsula Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to oversee our Food & Nutrition Services Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare food service professional who is passionate about quality, patient satisfaction, team leadership, and operational excellence.
To support recruitment for this essential leadership role, CPH is now offering:
• $10,000 Critical Position Bonus for a one-year commitment
OR
• $25,000 Critical Position Bonus for a two-year commitment
Relocation assistance is also available for qualified candidates.
As the Director of Food & Nutrition Services, you will lead both Clinical Nutrition and Food Service operations, ensuring patients, residents, staff, and visitors receive high-quality nutritional care and meal services that meet the highest standards for safety, service, and satisfaction.
This role oversees:
• Clinical nutrition services
• Food production and meal delivery
• Catering and special events
• Department operations and budgeting
• Staff leadership, development, and performance
• Regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives
We’re looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who thrives in a healthcare environment and values teamwork, service, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
OR
• High School Diploma/GED plus Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
This is a great opportunity for experienced food service leaders who have built their careers through hands-on healthcare nutrition and dietary management experience.
Additional qualifications include:
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare food service management experience
• Strong operational and budgeting skills
• Knowledge of food safety, preparation, and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
