Behavioral Health Practitioner Bachelor’s Degree or Higher: Starts at $24.69
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30a – 3:30p with shared after hours/weekend coverage (on-call rotation)
Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) has a rewarding opportunity to serve as a Behavioral Health Practitioner: Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist with our St. Cloud Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The Behavioral Health Practitioner Co-Occurring Disorder Specialists an active member of an evidenced-based clinical team, providing medically necessary treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). The Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist provides Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment to ACT clients who have a substance use problem.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Implement services in the treatment plan for each client under clinical supervision.
- Complete assessments and maintain client documentation.
- Coordinate services with other programs and providers.
- Complete ongoing comprehensive substance use assessments which consider the relationship between substance use and mental health.
- Asses and track clients’ stages of change readiness and stages of treatment.
- Utilizes outreach and motivational interviewing techniques.
- Implement cognitive behavioral approaches and relapse prevention.
- Apply treatment approaches consistent with clients’ stage of change readiness.
Salary : $22 - $25
