This position works directly with Dr. Peter Dijkstra and his team to study behavioral decision making, social competition, and stress resilience in fish.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts physiological assays, including mitochondrial respiration, redox/oxidative stress measurements, and hormone analyses, ensuring high data quality and reproducibility.
Manages daily laboratory operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and maintaining a safe, efficient research environment.
Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment, coordinate calibrations and service contracts, and ensure proper instrument performance.
Maintains reagents and consumables supplies.
Develops, maintains, and enforces standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with institutional safety, biosafety, and regulatory guidelines.
Trains and supervises students and staff in laboratory techniques, safety practices, and proper data collection and documentation.
