Title of Position: Head Women’s Basketball Coach (Stipend Position – $10,000)
Responsibilities: Central Maine Community College is seeking a Head Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a stipend position with compensation of $10,000.
This position is an opportunity to lead a program with a proven national track record of excellence, both on the court and in the classroom.
Responsibilities
The Head Women’s Basketball Coach reports directly to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for:
- Recruiting student-athletes who align with the program’s culture and expectations
- Developing and sustaining a highly competitive program at the conference and national level
- Establishing and maintaining clear expectations for academic success and personal accountability
- Supporting the holistic development of student-athletes
- Organizing and overseeing practices, competitions, and team travel
- Representing CMCC with professionalism within the conference, community, and national landscape
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous coaching and recruiting experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
