Title of Position: Adjunct instructor for the Life Sciences Program (fall semester August 2026)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Range: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
Summary: Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach biology courses. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about biology and human anatomy and is committed to supporting student success. This position requires high-quality, applicable, and engaging delivery of curriculum and use of a learning management system. The potential courses include Biology I and II, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and Introduction to General Biology. The preferred candidate will have experience teaching at the college level. This position is for on-ground instruction at least twice a week between the hours of 8am to 4pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in biology or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching college biology courses
