Title: Adjunct instructor for the HVAC/Plumbing courses (fall semester)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
Responsibilities: Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach a variety of HVAC and Plumbing courses during the fall semester. The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system. The courses may be day or evening and will be taught on-ground at our Auburn campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a current State of Maine Master/Journeyman Oil Burner Technician License or Maine Gas Service and Connection Technician License.
- At least five years of work experience in the HVAC and/or Plumbing field
- Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
- Must be comfortable with using computers in various capacities
