Job Overview
Come join the exciting team at Central Florida Dreamplex in Clermont, Florida! We provide occupational therapy to all ages at our fully equipped sensory gym. We also offer recreational programs and adaptive sports clinics that benefit our patients outside of therapy. This full-time position includes health benefits, vacation/PTO, and retirement. We have a full caseload immediately available! We treat outpatient clients and students at our private therapy school.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to provide therapeutic services that help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. This role is essential in supporting patient recovery and enhancing their quality of life through tailored treatment plans.

Qualifications
- Certification as an occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
- Knowledge of care plans, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and geriatric care is preferred.
- Experience in acute care settings or home health environments is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and patience while working with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and medical imaging may be beneficial.
