Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Assessments & Treatment: Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and the care team to evaluate residents’ needs and implement personalized therapy plans.
- Empower Resident Independence: Guide residents in regaining essential life skills and improving functional abilities.
- Hands-On Therapeutic Support: Deliver direct therapy sessions to promote recovery from illness, injury, or surgery.
- Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to all healthcare regulations while maintaining the highest level of resident confidentiality.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes and quality care.
- Licensure: Current and active Florida COTA license (required).
- Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required.
