Regular Education Paraprofessional at Central Elementary School

Reports To: Principal of School
Salary: Per Support Staff Collective Bargaining Agreement
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Central Elementary School is seeking two regular education paraprofessionals who will support classroom instruction and behavior management in our kindergarten classrooms. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively, a positive and flexible attitude, and a commitment to punctual and consistent attendance. Knowledge of positive behavior support practices and trauma-informed practices is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of relevant experience preferred
Associate degree preferred
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
Performing the duties of this job requires the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and sitting on the floor.
