6th Grade Teacher (2026-2027 School Year)

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 6th Grade Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and trends.
• Enforce school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth, helping them set and achieve their goals.
• Contribute to school events, committees, and extracurricular activities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or license Education Grades 4-8
• Proven experience teaching at the secondary level preferred, with a strong understanding of subject matter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle classroom challenges with professionalism.

Hours- 7:20am – 2:50pm
