POSITION: Anticipated Opening Technology Support Specialist (Full-time w/ benefits) - Multiple Openings LOCATION: TBD AVAILABLE: July 6, 2026 (exact start date TBD) COMPENSATION: $25.46 p/hour*

HOURS: 8 hours/day 40 hours/week DESCRIPTION:
The Technology Support Specialist supports students, teachers, and staff in utilizing technology. Ensures high-level customer service via face-to-face, email, chat, and phone. Provides positive and seamless IT support to all end users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Configure all Windows computers and iPads to operate effectively.
- Complete basic computer repairs and escalate other repairs to vendors.
- Run diagnosis programs to identify & fix problems with hardware and software running Windows, iOS, and Android such as laptops, iPads, Clear Touch Panels, projectors, IP phones, and access points.
- Install and update software applications as requested.
- Demonstrate a positive customer service approach when fulfilling the position duties.
- Closing Level 1 help desk tickets according to HelpDesk ticket protocol.
- Perform preventive maintenance of hardware such as projectors.
- Assist in maintaining the building asset inventory.
- Maintain a clean organized functional workspace.
- Organize deployments, collections, and special projects.
- Troubleshoot and collaborate with the Network team in support of the Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Assist in configuring, troubleshooting, and researching all aspects of technology related issues.
- Attend district training sessions covering the key areas.
- Use a cooperative "team" approach to problem solving.
- Willing to learn skills and research topics.
- Responsible for technology-related packages delivered to & leaving the Educational Services Center, and for receiving, sorting, and distributing packages and deliveries to the intended recipients.
- Maintain supply levels of sellable parts such as pens & chargers.
- Collaborate and participate in Department Meetings and Microsoft Teams.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Building Technology Services.
