Informatics Liaison | St. Cloud Hospital

The Informatics Liaison I works with end-users and technical groups to provide operational and technical education, support, troubleshooting and/or recommendations of process or system improvements. The main goal of this role is to ensure all staff are utilizing their technology tools fully with efficiency and accuracy to ensure we are achieving optimal patient outcomes. The Informatics Liaison I is responsible for gaining advanced knowledge of the Epic application and workflow knowledge as it relates to the end users they will support. The Informatics Liaison I will assist in projects along with end user assessments in order to gain in-depth knowledge of practice and system workflows to achieve optimal system functionality and ultimately quality patient care. They are responsible for assisting in development of and maintaining training materials as necessary in conjunction with the IS Computer Education team. The Informatics Liaison I may lead training of new staff members and provides regular ongoing training opportunities. They also provide support to staff to troubleshoot issues and answer questions as they arise. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud, MN
• Day shift | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $63,747.33 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
• Salary range: $63,747.33 - $95,642.90 per year
  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required, or 2 years of applicable informatics/functional area experience in lieu of education
• 2 years of clinical, operational, or related application experience, or current related application proficiency
• Previous experience in information technology and/or software preferred
• Epic proficiency and/or experience in application(s) preferred
• Ability to work in an adaptable, fast-paced, and results-driven setting
• Systems thinker with organizational skills who can pull all the pieces together and deliver on time
• Ability to present in front of and teach classes to clinical end users in classroom, group, and one-on-one settings
