What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at CentraCare?
As a Physical Therapist, you will organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following diseases, injuries, or loss of a body part. You will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatments and modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician. Your role involves helping patients reach their maximum performance and functional levels while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities in our outpatient setting with occasional inpatient and/or LTC coverage as needed.
SCHEDULE & PAY:
- Casual | As needed
- Monday - Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm
- Starting pay begins at $40.38 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $37.84-58.19 per hour
QUALFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapist (PT) Licensed by the MN Board of Physical Therapy as a physical therapist or current temporary permit required. License required within 90 days from date of exam.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
