Duties & Responsibilities:
- Read and understand closing documents, including closing instructions, post funding documents as they relate to post closing requirements.
- Communicating with escrow/ tittle companies, borrowers
- Pursue all missing documents and correction of any inaccurate documentation.
- Uploads documents received from internal departments for all post-closing file delivery; organizes and stores documents within the LOS Encompass and shared departmental drives.
- Assists with all cures to custodian prior to closing and post trade with investors.
- Collaborate with Post Closing Team on timely delivery of collateral file and trailing documents to warehouse line and investor custodians.
- Identifies critical exceptions and troubleshoot issues.
- Communicates with Origination and Post Closing Team and investors on outstanding trailing documents.
- Assistance with special projects as needed in post-closing as well as other departments.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office- Excel Proficient - and internet savvy
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, detail orientated.
- Basic understanding of Mortgage Loan Documents
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to change quickly in a fast-paced team-driven environment.
- Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking and critical thinking skills.
- Thinks ahead, anticipates needs based on prior experiences; initiative to act in advance either to prepare for a situation or to prevent it.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong people skills and collaborator attitude
Education:
High School Diploma/ B.A Preferred
