What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAT Volunteer position at Center for Addiction Treatment?
Hello Potential Volunteer!
We want to thank you for having interest in joining our team as a Volunteer! Volunteers help us fulfill our mission which is to save lives and rebuild families! We appreciate your desire to donate your time and talents!
We periodically look for volunteers to help with us for administrative-related and/or patient-related opportunities.
Some administrative-related volunteer opportunities would be:
- Administrative/Clerical duties
- Event set up/break down/hosting
- Facility/Grounds work
- Agency Committee: e.g. Personnel, Marketing, Finance, Planning
- Board of Directors
Some patient-related volunteer opportunities would be:
- Internship
- Client Transportation
- Work with a patient program
We encourage you to complete the first step of our process which is to complete this application. The application requires three non-family member references that the applicant has known for at least one full year.
Completing an application does not guarantee acceptance into our volunteer program. Applicants who closely align to the needs of the volunteer opportunity are contacted to schedule an interview with the team. Final applicants will be asked to complete an background check with the understanding that the acceptance is contingent upon report.
All qualified volunteers will attend an orientation that will include required training and may require a witnessed drug screen and TB Test depending on the volunteer opportunity.
Once again, we appreciate your desire to help our team!
