We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks.
- Drive and manage various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials and equipment across construction sites.
- Use specialized machinery like concrete mixers and farm equipment to support specific project needs.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure safety and proper functioning; perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist with site setup, material loading/unloading, and logistical coordination to keep projects on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment status, project updates, and safety concerns.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery.
- Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with construction processes and safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving various types of trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Experience working with concrete mixers or farm machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is advantageous.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
