Job Title: Logistics Technician II
Location: Elma, NY
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Technician II to support material handling and logistics operations within a production and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely movement, storage, and tracking of materials to support manufacturing and repair operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in material handling, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Qualifications
· 3 years of logistics, material handling, or warehouse experience.
· Valid New York State Driver’s License.
· Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
· Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform logistics operations including material delivery, kit pulling, stocking, receiving, and packaging.
· Receive, count, package, and store incoming materials accurately.
· Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper material location tracking.
· Support production and repair teams by ensuring timely material availability.
· Use internal systems to track inventory and logistics transactions.
· Prioritize daily workload to meet production and operational goals.
· Communicate with production, engineering, quality, and customer service teams.
· Handle incoming calls and coordinate communication across teams.
· Follow safety procedures and assist in emergency coordination if required.
· Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and moving materials (with equipment support for heavier items).
Pay: $19.75 - $25.00 per hour
