SENIOR SOURCING SPECIALIST

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $40 - 48 per hour

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders to realize business outcomes through expert supply chain management. You are a high-level communicator who builds cross-functional networks, identifies market leverage, and mitigates risk to deliver value on time.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Market Expertise

• Knowledge Leadership: Leverage and continually develop deep expertise in production, retail math, and logistics timing.
• Global Compliance: Navigate international commerce rules, specialized country regulations, finance, macro-economics, and sustainability tracking.
• Data-Driven Action: Redefine raw data and research into actionable sourcing strategies that drive business growth.

Negotiations & Financial Impact

• Strategy Development: Create and drive comprehensive negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible product mix at target profit margins.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the central point of communication for all internal and external partners (Agents, Vendors, Merchants, and Product Teams) throughout the negotiation lifecycle.
• Financial Integrity: Maintain costing datasets and related reporting, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.

Supplier Management & Optimization

• Evaluation: Identify and vet potential suppliers based on capabilities, capacity, pricing, financial health, and value-add.
• Performance Monitoring: Conduct ongoing monitoring of supplier performance, health, and capacity to ensure supply chain stability.
• Portfolio Strategy: Partner with Business Units to develop and execute "grow/maintain/shrink" strategies based on performance data and evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Merchandising, Finance or relevant experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel: pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Able to unify and clearly present ideas to individuals and groups.
• Collaborative; works well in a team environment; strong communication skills.
• Meets deadlines; responds appropriately in a timely manner.
• Excellent multi-tasker, able to manage multiple projects/ programs simultaneously.
