We are seeking a seasoned Market Research Consultant to spearhead market research and business analyses for assigned brands and therapeutic areas. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, translating complex data into actionable insights that shape marketing strategies and tactics for a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Identify immediate and multi-year market research needs and develop comprehensive plans using appropriate methodologies.
- End-to-End Research: Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of primary research studies, delivering clear recommendations to stakeholders.
- Data Synthesis: Analyze syndicated and secondary market data to measure performance and deepen market understanding.
- Insight Storytelling: Compile insights from multiple data sources to create and deliver high-impact presentations to senior leadership.
- Vendor Management: Oversee vendor partnerships to ensure projects align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and budgetary constraints.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Analytics & Insights colleagues to provide unified support and lead without authority in a complex, fast-paced organization.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a large product marketing corporation with a focus on market research.
- Industry Expertise: Minimum of 10 years supporting pharmaceutical brand marketing research.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated experience navigating the regulatory and ethical requirements of pharmaceutical data protection.
- Therapeutic Familiarity: Preference for candidates with experience in cardiology, primary care, and/or diabetic conditions.
- Availability: Must be able to work EST business hours and start within two weeks of an offer.
