What are the responsibilities and job description for the ECOMMERCE PROJECT COORDINATOR position at Cella?
Location: New York, New York
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $35 - 42 per hour
Our Client is looking for a highly organized and motivated eCommerce Project Coordinator to join our client's team. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who loves the "behind-the-scenes" work of marketing-organizing assets, tracking timelines, and helping the team stay prepared for global launches.
Your primary goal is to support the Senior Manager in executing our eCommerce content strategy. You will be the "go-to" person for organizing photoshoots, keeping our digital files in order, and helping us keep an eye on what's happening in the beauty industry.
Responsibilities:
Photoshoot Coordination Support:
- Act as the primary administrative support for eCommerce photoshoots (product, texture, and model shots).
- Manage "sample tracking"-ordering products and ensuring they arrive at the studio on time for shoots.
- Maintain the production calendar to ensure everyone knows upcoming deadlines.
Digital Asset Organization:
- Keep our global digital libraries organized so that teams around the world can easily find the latest images and videos.
- Help upload and label new assets in our internal systems, ensuring everything is named correctly and easy to search.
Market Launch Preparation:
- Help compile "Web Strategy Decks"-these are the toolkits we send to different countries to help them launch products online.
- Gather images, product descriptions, and technical specs into clear, easy-to-read PowerPoint presentations.
Industry & Competitive Research:
- Spend time browsing Amazon and other retailer sites to see how other brands are showing their products.
- Keep a simple log of cool digital trends or new ways competitors are talking about skincare to share with the team.
Who You Are:
- You are a "List-Maker": You love staying organized and get satisfaction from checking tasks off a list.
- You are Curious: You are interested in eCommerce and want to learn how a global brand grows online.
- You are a Team Player: You are happy to jump in and help with whatever the team needs to get a project across the finish line.
- You have an Eye for Detail: You notice when a file is misnamed or a photo is slightly off-brand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred but not required).
- 1 - 3 years of experience (internships are great!).
- Basic proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (you don't need to be an expert, just comfortable navigating them).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time well and handle a few different tasks at once.
