Our Oshkosh client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team and step into a vital role.We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Oshkosh client's team and take over a long-standing role in our accounting department. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping financial operations running smoothly and maintaining strong vendor relationships.What You’ll Do: You’ll manage the full accounts payable cycle from reviewing and coding incoming invoices to ensuring timely weekly payments. This includes entering information into our Excede system, preparing check runs, handling credit card reconciliations, and keeping vendor records accurate and up to date. You’ll also help monitor open purchase orders, support phone coverage, and pitch in with general office upkeep alongside the rest of the team.What We’re Looking For: We need someone who understands Accounts Payable processes inside and out and is comfortable working with spreadsheets, office software, and 10-key tools. Accuracy and confidentiality are a must. You should bring at least two years of clerical or bookkeeping experience, and additional post-high-school training or an associate degree in accounting is a plus.Work Environment: This role is based onsite and involves working in an office located above an active shop area, so you may occasionally encounter moderate noise, dust, or fumes.If you’re dependable, organized, and ready to step into an important role as their current Accounts Payable specialist transitions into retirement, we’d love to hear from you.
