We are seeking a highly skilled Stewardship and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Narrows, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of SQRE and operating the Acid Recovery, Anhydride Manufacturing core at our Celanese site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the stewardship culture and performance for the ARAM WTP core
- Ensure employees understand and operate within Celanese stewardship programs
- Develop a risk recognition and mitigation culture
- Administer process safety requirements and compliance
Quality Focus:
- Take leading actions to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer requirements
- Review and communicate product quality targets to the team
- Recognize potential quality risks and act proactively
Production and Reliability:
- Recognize and address potential production plan risks
- Understand production capabilities and constraints
- Validate and coordinate production plans
- Ensure production reliability and meet monthly production plan requirements
- Ensure resources, raw materials, and supplies are available
- Collaborate on emerging issues and reliability strategy
Engagement and Development:
- Model employee engagement and display a can-do attitude
- Engage with direct reports, unit leaders, and other stakeholders
- Reinforce SQRE plans through walk-throughs and feedback
- Responsible for knowledge retention and development
- Foster a teamwork environment that includes ideas and solutions
- Maintain risk registry and implement solutions
- Develop team plans to address emerging needs
- Review KPIs and gaps with the team
- Assign PPRs to resolve gaps and follow up on solutions
- Coordinate with the Technology Leader to remove technical roadblocks
- Escalate 24/7 team needs
- Execute UTP and AOP received from the Unit Leader
- Maintain the pipeline of continuous improvements ideas
- Owner of the Conduct of Operations system
- Drive flawless daily execution
