CEDARKIRK DAY CAMP COUNSELOR
Day Camp Counselors will...
Lead small groups of campers who have completed grades K-5th. Be paired with a co-counselor and a small group of no more than 16 campers to comprise a “family group” for the week. Rotate weekly among varying co-counselors and age groups Counselors are responsible for supervision, recreation, community building, and the leadership of all small-group activities. Prepare and lead daily Bible studies from a provided curriculum Provide for the safety and wellbeing of campers, physically, mentally and emotionally. Work collaboratively with co-counselors and other staff.
Day Camp Counselor must be at least 16 years of age to be considered for employment and must have reliable daily transportation.
Day Camp runs Monday- Friday 8am- 5:30pm
Day Camp Staff Training will start May 19th (if you are still in school, you will not required to attend during those times)
Day Camp Season runs Monday- Friday June 8 to July 31
Pay for first-year Day Camp Counselors is $305 per week in addition to lunches being provided everyday.
