Summer Camp Counselor- Week Long Camps

Looking for a summer job where you can make a real impact while living and working in a fun, community-centered environment? We are seeking camp counselors who are ready to engage, lead, and grow as part of an active and supportive team.

This seasonal role begins with paid staff training starting May 19, followed by a full camp season running through July 25. Counselors are provided on-site housing and meals during camp sessions. Regular time off includes most weekends and a break during the week of July 4.

In this role, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming space where campers can try new things, build friendships, and gain confidence. Counselors share responsibility for the overall well-being of campers, supporting them physically, socially, and emotionally throughout the week.

Each counselor is paired with a co-counselor to lead a cabin group. Together, you’ll guide campers (ranging from elementary through high school, as well as adults with developmental disabilities) through daily schedules that include activities, meals, evening programs, and cabin time. You’ll be with your group from Sunday arrival through Friday departure, helping shape their full camp experience.

Because we are a Christian camp connected to the Presbyterian tradition, counselors also take part in leading daily faith-based activities such as Bible study and group discussions. We encourage staff to bring their own voice and creativity to these moments while respecting the diverse backgrounds of our campers.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and bring a positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. Experience working with youth is helpful but not required.
