Direct Support Professional - Overnight Shift
Park Place - 325 Park Road, New Castle, KY 40050
Full-time | Overnight Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 36 hours per week
$17.00 per hour and up plus applicable overnight differential

Our mission is centered on unconditional love for people with disabilities, and our overnight DSPs provide the steady presence and dependable support that help individuals feel safe and cared for throughout the night.
Role Overview:
In this overnight position, you will provide supervision, personal care support, safety monitoring, documentation, and responsive assistance during nighttime hours. The role also supports continuity of care by preparing clear information for the day shift team.

What you’ll do:
Overnight Safety and Support
- Provide attentive overnight supervision and support while maintaining a calm, respectful, and home-like environment.
- Respond promptly to overnight needs, call bells, toileting, repositioning, personal care, mobility assistance, and other support needs.
- Monitor for changes in condition, behavior, comfort, or safety and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support skin integrity, infection control, and safe transfer practices during nighttime care routines.
- Individual Rights and Dignity
- Protect each individual’s privacy, dignity, belongings, and right to receive support free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, or restraint violations.
- Follow each individual’s plan of care and IPP while encouraging maximum independence, comfort, and personal choice.
- Report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, rights violations, missing items, equipment concerns, or environmental issues immediately according to policy.
Team Communication and Handoff
- Complete overnight documentation clearly and accurately so the day shift team has the information needed for continuity of care.
- Assist with laundry, light household responsibilities, supplies, morning preparation, meals as assigned, and other tasks that support smooth household operations.
- Communicate tactfully with individuals, families, visitors, nurses, peers, supervisors, and other team members.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age with valid Kentucky or Indiana Driver’s License and a clean driving record
Preferred Experience
- 1 year Caregiving
