Title: HR Generalist
Location: Hybrid
Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources
Summary
This role partners closely with people leaders and team members to support a broad range of Human Resources functions including employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, HR operations, and performance management. The HR Generalist will play an important role in ensuring consistent HR practices while helping strengthen our values, culture and support our continued growth.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional who is comfortable using data and technology to improve HR processes, and brings a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to supporting the business.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Manager Support
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
- Support employee relations matters by helping address employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues while ensuring consistent application of company policies
- Assist managers with coaching and counseling conversations and documentation related to performance and employee development
- Support investigations and resolution of employee relations matters when needed
Benefits Administration
- Administer and support all employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
- Serve as a primary resource for employee benefits questions and issue resolution
- Manage benefits enrollments, qualifying life events, and coordination with external vendors and brokers
- Support open enrollment planning, communication, and implementation
- Ensure accurate benefits records and coordination with payroll deductions
Employee Lifecycle Support
- Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding to ensure a smooth and positive employee experience
- Conduct exit interviews and track feedback trends to help inform retention and engagement efforts
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation complies with company standards and legal requirements
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other applicable regulations
- Assist with unemployment claims by gathering documentation and supporting claim responses
- Maintain personnel files and HRIS data integrity
- Partner with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and HRIS teams to support HR processes and initiatives
Culture & Engagement
- Serve as a culture champion by supporting initiatives that reinforce Curated Events’ values and employee experience
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, communications, and recognition programs
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace environment
HR Data & Process Improvement
- Assist with HR reporting, data tracking, and analysis to support HR and business decisions
- Use HR technology and systems to help improve HR processes and efficiency
- Support HR projects and initiatives that align with the company’s growth and operational goals
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Human Resources generalist experience required
- Strong experience administering and managing employee benefits programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus
- Experience working in multi-location or operations-driven environments preferred
- Ability to travel about 25% and Bi-lingual preferred
