- Position Description
The Mechanical Engineer designs and releases conceptual and design drawings regarding CDM's line of Blending, Lifting and Material handling Equipment. This is a great opportunity that is part of a growing company with lots of potential. Comfortably situated within the Hudson Valley with customers and installations all over the world. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer/Drafter to join our growing team! The Mechanical Designer/Drafter is responsible for existing product support, 3D drawing creation, Bill of Materials, and supporting the fabrication team.
Position Requirements
- Experience with basic & typical metal fabrication. Stainless steel preferred.
- Develop or repurpose drawings, BOM's, and other deliverables.
- Sales Drawings, Approval Drawings, 3D model and new assemblies based on CDM's industry experience
- Create in-depth drawings from models as needed for all areas in the manufacturing process.
- Create, maintain and support of top level assemblies throughout the design, documentation and release to manufacturing process.
- Work with engineering team on larger projects to complete projects according to deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
