🚀 Position Overview
Director of Business Development – Hospital System Sales (CardioNavix) This is a remote, Mid-Atlantic U.S.-based role focused on building and growing hospital system relationships across the IDN and GPO landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for securing new hospital partnerships, expanding existing accounts, and driving adoption of CardioNavix technology across hospital-based cardiac practices nationwide.Success in this role is driven by strong relationship-building, strategic negotiation, and the ability to operate confidently with senior hospital stakeholders while delivering measurable value to customers.
🧠 What You’ll Do
🤝 Drive Hospital System Growth Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital systems, IDNs, and GPOs to expand CDL’s presence nationwide.📈 Acquire and Expand Accounts Identify new business opportunities, negotiate agreements, and expand utilization within existing hospital customers.📝 Contract & Account Management Negotiate contracts, oversee implementation of terms, and manage accounts throughout the full contract lifecycle.⭐ Customer Experience Leadership Proactively enhance the hospital customer experience while ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnership stability.🧩 Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and internal stakeholders to support new product offerings and strategic initiatives.📊 Performance & Market Insight Develop a deep understanding of CDL’s business model, performance metrics, and evolving hospital market dynamics.
✅ What We’re Looking For
🎓 Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred.🏥 Healthcare Sales Experience 3–5 years of hospital-based sales and negotiation experience, including IDN and GPO exposure.💼 Account & Relationship Expertise Demonstrated success managing complex client relationships and delivering client-focused solutions.💻 Technical Skills Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho, along with strong MS Office skills.✈️ Travel Availability Ability to travel up to 75%.🚀 Drive & Independence Self‑motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
💼 Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role is primarily remote and office-based, requiring frequent computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. The position involves regular travel and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
