Siding Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Siding Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining siding on various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that building exteriors are durable, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead siding operations on large-scale projects, coordinate with project managers, and uphold the highest standards of construction safety and quality.

Duties

• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute siding installations.
• Manage and supervise siding crews to ensure efficient workflow, adherence to project schedules, and quality control.
• Coordinate with project managers to develop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid software.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
• Implement construction safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety regulations, and ensure work meets design specifications.
• Review contracts and manage change orders related to siding scope of work while maintaining budget integrity.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise installation of siding systems.
• Lead quality control efforts by inspecting work for adherence to industry standards and client expectations.
• Manage teams effectively by providing clear managerial communication, supervising crew members, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential construction with a focus on siding installation or related exterior building systems.
• Extensive construction site experience including supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong background in construction management software such as Hover and Exactimate.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project management principles.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, federal construction safety standards, and industry best practices for construction safety management.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and change orders within large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills for managing teams effectively while coordinating with project stakeholders.
