POSITION: Patient Access Representative - Emergency Services
HOURS: 32 hours per pay period (0.4 FTE) / Non-Exempt - including every other weekend
3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
UNION: Yes

WAGE RANGE: $18.26 - $27.25
General Responsibilities
The Patient Access Representative is often the first contact of patients when they visit our healthcare facility. This position is responsible for patient referrals, greeting patients and working with them in person, on the phone or through electronic correspondence to meet their needs regarding scheduling, updating patient information, checking patients in and out and acting as a liaison in reporting any patient suggestions to management.
Education/Training
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skill(s)
Receptionist experience preferred.

- Computer skills/experience required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Knowledge to Medical Terminology preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to think independently and demonstrate good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of individuals in a positive manner
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License - some out-of-town travel to branch clinics may be required
Receptionist experience preferred.
