Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting press operators to ensure production of quality Offset press products by gathering, loading/unloading materials and finished products; to ensure standards are being met. To learn to perform the job duties assigned to the press operator, to fill in when needed. To learn to set up and operate an Offset press to produce high quality products.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates the behaviors of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism towards supervisors and co-workers, and self-directed task completion.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Must comply with all departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), Employee Handbook Policies, including attendance, and all safety rules and standards.
- Works normal shift hours and overtime as required.
- Retrieves or receives necessary materials such as paper, inks, plates, cylinders, etc. and sets up press in accordance with job specifications and customer requirements.
- As directed by Press Operator, assists in producing quality products by providing support/helper activities such as adjusting press, loading/unloading materials, stacking stock, moving finished/scrap product, and getting supplies.
- Learns to mix inks and mixes as needed.
- Assists in and learns to set-up an Offset press as directed by operator and learns to produce non-complex high quality products.
- Operates hand truck and hand tools.
- Applies mechanical ability to adjust press and to troubleshoot various problems.
- Maintains all equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
- Ability to read a standard ruler to 1/32” and a metric ruler to 1mm.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear.
Frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 125 pounds.
Requires constant movement and bending.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, chemicals and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
