What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Saw position at CCK Trucking?
Duties:
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with construction projects, including demolition, excavation, and site cleanup
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laborer or construction role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
