Skilled General Laborer

We have an immediate opening for a Skilled General Laborer. In this role, you will perform a variety of physical tasks to support our Fence Installers. This includes tasks like lifting and moving materials, operating machinery, site preparation and cleanup, and assisting skilled workers. General Laborers are the backbone of ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Labor: Lifting, carrying, digging, and general cleanup of work areas.
• Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials, transporting items, and organizing supplies.
• Machinery Operation: Operating basic tools, equipment, power tools & auger.
• Site Preparation: Setting up work areas, assembling materials, and clearing debris.
• Assisting Skilled Trades: Providing support by gathering tools, holding materials, or performing basic tasks.
• Following Instructions: Adhering to safety protocols and project instructions from supervisors.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the work area clean and free of hazards.
• Adhering to Safety Regulations: Wearing appropriate safety gear and following safety procedures.

Essential Skills:

• Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Standing for long periods of time and able to lift and move heavy loads over 50 pounds. ABLE TO ENDURE WORKING OUTSIDE YEAR-ROUND.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Familiarity with hand and power tools, or the willingness to learn.
• Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively with others and follow instructions.
• Reliability and Work Ethic: Punctuality, consistent attendance, and a willingness to learn.
• Adaptability: Willingness to perform various tasks and adapt to changing work environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
