Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Test Lead with 10–14 years of experience in software testing, including strong expertise in Life Insurance and Retirement Services (Pension/401k).
The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts for applications supporting retirement plans, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end test strategy, planning, and execution
- Design and develop test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on FSDs and user stories
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Oversee test execution, defect management, and reporting
- Validate complex retirement workflows such as contributions, loans, payouts, and RMDs
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Required Skills & Experience
Domain Expertise
- Strong experience in Retirement Services / Insurance domain
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Defined Contribution (401(k), 403(b), 457)
- Defined Benefit plans
- Retirement transactions (contributions, loans, payouts, RMDs)
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks: ERISA, SECURE Act 2.0, IRS, DOL
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing (mandatory)
- Experience with Automation Tools: Selenium, UFT / LeanFT
- Strong SQL skills for data validation
- Knowledge of API Testing and Performance Testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of OOP concepts and JDBC
Tools & Frameworks
- Test Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, ALM
- Experience in automation frameworks and reporting tools
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage teams and drive delivery
Nice to Have
- Experience in building/maintaining automation test suites
- Prior experience in retirement or pension platforms
