What you’ll do
- Prepare and review a high volume of uncomplicated individual and small-business tax returns with speed and accuracy.
- Streamline workflows and elevate quality through checklists, best practices, and light process improvements.
- Train, coach, and review work for junior staff; be a go-to resource during busy season.
- Collaborate closely with partners to scope work, prioritize deadlines, and delight clients.
- Stay current on tax changes and ensure compliance across engagements.
What you’ll bring
- 5 years of public accounting experience; large-firm background strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage high-throughput, low-complexity tax work without sacrificing quality.
- Strong review skills and attention to detail; comfort with fast-paced deadlines.
- Leadership mindset with a passion for training and mentoring junior staff.
- Proficiency with common tax prep software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx, Drake) and Excel.
- CPA or EA preferred.
