What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable/AIA Billing Professional position at CBIZ Talent and Compensation Solutions?
CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Professional with AIA billing experience for our Nassau County client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly pay applications
- Manage AIA billing (G702/G703), Procore, Textura, and standard invoicing
- Review contracts for billing terms, retainage, and schedule of values
- Maintain and update Schedule of Values (SOV)
- Track and bill change orders accurately
- Monitor AR aging, follow up on outstanding receivables, and support month-end close
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients on billing matters
- Process lien waivers, compliance documents, and insurance certificates
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support project closeouts (O&M manuals, documentation) tied to final billing
- Assist with general office operations and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of accounts receivable experience within the construction industry
- Hands-on experience with AIA billing (G702/G703) required
- Proficiency with Procore, Textura, or similar project-based billing systems
- Strong understanding of contracts, retainage, and change order processes
- Experience managing AR aging and collections
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners

Compensation
- $70,000–$80,000/year benefits
