What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at CB, Inc.?
We are looking to employ Heavy Equipment Operators to perform a range of duties for excavation and sitework tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary pending the project requirements and may include , but not limited to:
- Operating Heavy Equipment (Excavators, Loaders, Skidsteers, etc.)
- Excavating for and around underground utilities
- Grading for sitework and clearing for maintenance
Experience and Skills Required:
- Prior experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator on underground excavation and sitework projects
- Knowledge of grades and blueprint reading
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks that may involve kneeling, bending and lifting heavy items
- Good critical thinking skills and follow written and/or verbal directions
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and professional work
