Join a high-performance underground mining team moving materials safely and efficiently. You’ll operate haul trucks and support equipment to load, haul, and unload material while following strict safety and MSHA standards.
What You’ll Do
Safely operate underground haul trucks across all active headings; load, haul, and dump to plan.
Support mining, crushing, screening, and plant operations as needed.
Perform basic maintenance on conveyors, crushers, and screens (change idlers/screens, grease bearings, clear chutes, replace guarding).
Complete basic mobile equipment service (add fluids, remove/replace covers, grease points).
Assist maintenance crews with repairs under direction.
Conduct pre/post-shift inspections; keep accurate production and inspection records.
Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas and report hazards immediately.
Communicate with supervisors on safety, quality, and production status.
Cross-train across functions to meet production needs.
What You’ll Bring
Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., articulated haul truck, wheel loader, skid steer)—underground experience a plus.
Working mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Strong safety mindset; ability to follow MSHA and company procedures.
Reliable attendance; ability to read/speak English and complete documentation.
HS diploma/GED preferred.
Ability to pass a physical and drug screen.
Physical & Work Environment
Underground mine environment; varying temps year-round.
Regularly lift/carry 50 lbs; stand, climb, and work on/around equipment.
PPE required at all times.
Salary : $22 - $25
