Catskill Veterinary Services is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Surgeon to join our team. As the primary referral hub for Sullivan County and the Hudson Valley, we offer a rare opportunity: the ability to practice high-level surgery in a private practice setting that rivals corporate specialty centers in capability and caseload.

ABOUT CATSKILL VETERINARY SERVICES

We are the "Full Scope" medical hub for the region. We bridge the gap between local primary care and tertiary referral centers.

• The Ecosystem: We operate busy ER and GP hubs in Rock Hill, Newburgh, and Middletown. You will serve as the primary surgical referral resource for this entire network.
• Advanced Care Focus: We are committed to offering advanced diagnostics and treatments. Whether it is complex orthopedics (TPLO, fractures), soft tissue, or oncologic surgery, our community relies on us (and you) to provide care they can't get elsewhere.

• Licensed & Capable: You will be supported by a powerhouse team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs)and experienced assistants. We pride ourselves on high-level anesthesia monitoring, pain management protocols, and surgical nursing.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Credentials: DVM/VMD Board Certification (DACVS) OR Board Eligible (active residency completion).
• NYS License: Current license (or ability to obtain one).
• Versatility: Proficiency in both orthopedic and soft tissue procedures.
• Collaboration: A specialist who views the referring GP/ER vets as partners, not subordinates. We value a collaborative approach to case management.
