Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety standards to guarantee customer safety
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza options and seasonal specials
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives
- Support the team during busy periods by serving customers directly when needed, ensuring excellent food service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable, not required but preferred
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced setting
- Background in culinary arts or the food industry is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a lively kitchen atmosphere
- Flexibility to work various shifts, nights and weekends are a must for hiring
