We are seeking a Pizzaiolo to join the Apizza Team!

Position Scope

The Pizzaiolo’s role is always to provide uncompromised excellence. This includes maintaining product presentations, product quality, and cook time standards.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain kitchen work area, equipment, plate ware and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.

· Assist other cooks, prep, and dish as necessary.

· Thorough knowledge of menu items.

· Completes all assigned prep work and sets up the cook’s station accordingly

· Hand stretch dough and build pies according to recipes, plate presentations, and Apizza specifications.

· Manage the pizza oven

· Responds to any additional requests from our guests promptly.

· Attends all company meetings and training seminars as required.

· Responsible for all cleaning duties outlined in the restaurant. Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.

· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

· Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies.

· Always portrays a favorable image of Apizza Regionale.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

· 6 mos. to 2 years related experience required.

· Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.

· Ability to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on high and low shelves.

· Must be able to speak and follow written and verbal communications, along with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
