Duties
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash register operations
- Manage customer orders efficiently, including taking orders, processing payments, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety standards throughout your shift
- Support operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to facilitate smooth food production
- Handle cash transactions accurately while processing cash handling and cashiering duties
- Contribute to a positive customer experience through friendly service, serving guests promptly, and addressing their needs
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety management, and sanitation practices is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols diligently
- Previous retail sales or café experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for working in the food industry is key
