Job Title: Director of Congregate Care
Program: Congregate Care
Salary: $80,370 - $86,149 (Based on experience and educational achievements)
General Responsibilities:
Catholic Guardian Services (CGS) is seeking a Director of Congregate Care to lead our residential foster care program, which supports youth facing psychological, behavioral, and/or substance use challenges. The Director will oversee daily operations of group homes, ensuring appropriate staff-to-youth ratios, effective supervision, and consistent support for adolescents. Our interdisciplinary team provides on-site mental health treatment, medical coordination, structured recreational activities, and guidance around education, vocational training, and employment readiness.
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in the field of social services
- 7- 10 years of prior residential setting experience
- 7 plus years of Supervisory experience
- Excellent computer skills, e.g., capacity to develop tracking systems and excel templates.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in the field of child welfare.
- Proven management abilities, including working in a high-volume work environment, meeting
deadlines, ensuring compliance with agency policy and procedures, and overseeing complete
and timely maintenance of agency case records, in accordance with contractual requirements
