About the Position:
The Administrative Assistant will support the mission and ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist by providing essential administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Mission Advancement Office.
This entry-level role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys supporting staff, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to a positive office environment. This position will report to the Executive Director of the Mission Advancement Office.
Key Role Functions and Responsibilities - Includes but is not limited to:
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assemble presentation materials for donor visits
- Conduct phone number research
- Assist with mailings
- Assist with securing copyright permissions for marketing materials
- Process card requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Proofread marketing materials and other communications for accuracy and consistency
- Assist with coordinating staff meetings and other internal events
- Support general office projects and special assignments as needed
- Assist with light kitchen duties, including organizing supplies and maintaining shared areas to help ensure a welcoming, organized, and professional office environment
Qualifications, skills, knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous office, customer service or volunteer experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the office during the workday
