St. Mary Catholic School in Westphalia is accepting applications for:
First Grade Elementary Teacher- full time. Responsible for teaching content in a self-contained classroom.
- Support the Catholic mission of the school and live in accordance with Church teachings;
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and integrate faith into instruction;
- Plan effective lessons aligned with curriculum goals;
- Maintain an organized, well-managed, and virtue-based classroom;
- Assess students learning regularly and accurately;
- Collaborate positively with administration, colleagues, and parents;
- Uphold confidentiality and display professional judgment in all conduct.
Applicants should have a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate for elementary K-5 self-contained. Applicants must be able to provide an extensive background check and VIRTUS training, completed prior to hiring.
