The PSH Facilities Worker role involves various tasks to maintain and enhance Agency buildings.
Responsibilities include cleaning, minor repairs, and habitability inspections. The position contributes to individual and team projects, such as cleanouts, renovations, and general maintenance in residential, office, and youth play areas. Additionally, the individual supports moving and assisting Agency departments and responds to acute program needs, including infestations and furniture removals. Safety is prioritized through reporting risk issues promptly, and effective communication is maintained with coworkers and supervisors. Adherence to safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment, is essential in this role.
This is a Full Time position at 35 hours a week. Pay for this position is $17.00 per hour

Education and/or Experience Required at Entry
- HS Diploma/GED or the ability to participate in on-the-job training required.
- Relevant experience in general maintenance, construction or commensurate
Licenses/Certificate/Clearances
- NYS Child Abuse Registry clearance,
- NYS Driver’s license check.
- Experience with or ability to learn basic systems of measurement and trade tools;
- must be able to lift 50 pounds. Basic computer skills.
- Mobility sufficient to drive to and perform work in client’s homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to work within a challenging and active environment.
Salary : $17
