Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and administer a rapidly growing, mission critical, IT environment including: Windows, Apple, iPads, MDM, Web Filtering, Honeywell FOB system
- Manage iPads including iOS and app installs; prepare restriction, app, and website profiles
- Maintain and manage all hardware including computers, iPads, document cameras, Newline TVs, and printers
- Assist personnel with daily technology and troubleshooting needs
- Manage and maintain IP Security cameras; 24/7 availability with live viewing on and off campus
- Train staff on hardware and software use
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
- Work directly with the school principal and IT company to ensure that IT systems are maintained and upgraded appropriately, ensuring their availability 24/7
- Meet routinely with each teacher to facilitate them using technology
- Manage teacher and student Google Accounts
- Act as administrator for teacher and student accounts on educational websites (ex. IXL, BrainPOP, Renaissance, etc.)
- Manage an inventory of hardware
- Develop/maintain school website
- Produce and edit videos/graphics for school when needed
- Work with IT company to solve related issues as needed
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related field; 4 years of work experience required.
- Minimum 3 years system administration experience
- Experience in server hardware, management software, storage technologies, and networking required.
- Experience successfully managing multiple projects and tasks, ensuring those same projects are properly aligned with corporate objectives
- Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software and computer hardware
- Ability to address and resolve information technology issues promptly, effectively, and independently
- Ability to understand highly technical concepts and communicate them to others in non-technical terms
